Portia has over ten years experience in the field of gender and SET,we have developed expertise and a wide range of services to assist addressing gender inequality in SET.
Portia can:

work with companies and organisations to develop and deliver their diversity strategies;
be part of consortia delivering projects in partnership with other organisations;
work with individuals to enhance their professional progression opportunities, improve career self-efficacy skills, and maximise employability;
work with third sector organisation on their e-communication and identifying opportunities;
provide expert consultancy on gender and SET; and
work with the education sector to deliver SET enrichment programmes in collaboration with professional bodies and the private sector.

	Portia Director presents Policy Manifesto to Research Commissioner 16 December 2011 Dr Elizabeth Pollitzer presented the Manifesto for Integrated Action on the Gender Dimension in Research and Innovation to Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, Commissioner for Research, Innovation & Science. The Manifesto summarizes the views of over 300 individuals working in the European science system who responded to a public consultation launched by genSET (a project co-ordinated by Portia) with recommendations on how to enhance research and innovation by addressing gender equality issues. 	Portia director leads Digital Agenda Assembly workshop "Women for Smart Growth" 16 June 2011 Portia's director, Elizabeth Pollitzer, was delighted to facilitate and report on the Digital Agenda Assembly workshop entitled "Women for Smart Growth", that defined a new strategy for increased integration of women into the science and technology workforce and within the Digital Agenda, on the 16th June at the Brussels Autoworld, convened by the Information Society DG of the European Commission.
